Standards Development

Help IAC Drive the Bus

The IAC performs extensive testing to determine what current test standards need to be modified to more closely depict the real world performance of antimicrobial and non-biocidal odor control products. The IAC also develops new methods that better recognize the performance of specific modes of action whose performance is not accurately identified by existing test methods.

Your donation helps the IAC pursue this work and supports the IAC in presenting these modified and new methods to be standards within the major test standards organizations such as AATCC and ASTM. Your corporate membership and donation gives you access and input regarding what test methods you feel are in need of modification. The IAC provides donors with semi-annual updates on the development of these methods and on their progress in becoming standards.
